Hang on, things are looking better

Q. Are there any jobs out there? I have a degree in engineering and have several minor specialties and have been hunting for work more than six months. I don't know where else to look. I feel as though this economy is never going to improve. Have you heard any differently?

Ans Matter of fact, The Conference Board's Help-Wanted Online Data Series recently released a report that in August online advertised vacancies rose by 169,000 to 3,464,800, and many of the largest states are finally showing stable trends following about two years of losses that started in May 2007.  The Conference Board feels the August increase shows what will be a continued improvement in job demand this fall. So hang in there.
